I. Program Definition
SAMMIE provides funding to one host site in southwest Minnesota where access to the Foundation Directory Online is available to SAMMIE member libraries and their patrons.
II. Foundation Directory Online Database Description
Foundation Directory Online provides information about foundations and other entities that provide grant funding to groups and individuals. SAMMIE member libraries and their patrons have access to this database through the Willmar Public Library, Willmar, MN.
SAMMIE member libraries and/or their patrons may visit the Willmar Public Library to search the database themselves, or they may complete a Foundation Directory Online Search Request form and submit it to the host site for searching.
III. Procedures for Requesting a Foundation Directory Database Search
A. Requests to have an online search conducted at the host site may be submitted through the online request form, by e-mail, fax, U S Mail or phone. All requests for searches must provide all the information requested on the form.
B. Once a search request is received by the designated searcher [see below] the search can take up to 5 business days to complete. The search results will then be returned according to the delivery method designated on the request form.
